About Fyllo:

Phyllo (www.fyllo.in) is an early-stage Agritech start-up working on IoT, machine learning-based risk mitigation solutions for agriculture. Using real-time farm data coming from IoT devices, we help farmers take on-farm decisions in irrigation, sprays for disease, pests, and fertigation. We are focused on horticulture crops and working on increasing production quality and quantity at a lower cost of cultivation.

About the role:

Sales Representative will be responsible to sell, promote and demonstrate Phyllo products and services including IoT Devices and Software services to Farmers by visiting farmers’ fields.

The job requires continuously meeting with farmers and explaining to them about field devices, so a thorough knowledge of the agricultural industry and sales are both essential. A person should have a vehicle with a driving license.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Selling and promoting a line of products offered by the company.
• Attend regional meetings to keep up with changes in the field and expand their product\market knowledge.
• Travel to various locations in order to meet clients, demonstrate a product, or encourage a sale.
• Strive to build better relationships with customers.
• Efficiently conduct product presentations.
• Understanding the needs and requirements of potential clients.
• Keeping clients informed of the delivery schedules and cultivating new clients in your service area.

We are looking for individuals with the following skill-set:

• Familiar with equipment and how it operates.
• Good communication and public speaking skills are required to sell products to individuals or groups of potential customers.
• Should have worked in the specified location (Person who belongs to the area\location (Preferred, not required)).
• Enthusiastic and passionate about the products they are to sell.
• Should have a definite knowledge of crops from respective locations.
• Preferred if he\she has a growing knowledge of the specified crop/s.
