Job Description
OSG Service Group is currently seeking Full Time and Part Time Retail Security Officers to join our team working at the Harvey Nichols store in Manchester city center. OSG provides security and risk management services to the retail, manufacturing, education, and public sectors.
We have supplied security services to the high-end retail sector for over twenty years and as a result, our retail client portfolio includes some of the leading names in fashion, jewelry and beauty.
Duties
- Maintaining a high profile, visible security presence.
- Being a polite and approachable security contact for customers and staff.
- Providing excellent customer service.
- Dealing with loss prevention issues.
- Deterring anti-social behavior, theft, and criminal activity.
- Working as part of an experienced security team.
- Writing statements and reports as necessary.
Essential Experience
- Applicants must hold a valid SIA Door Supervision license due to the requirement to cover the store’s bar and restaurant. Unfortunately, we are unable to consider applications from non-license holders.
Desirable Attributes
- Officers are expected to have a smart appearance and will be dressed in a black suit, company tie, white shirt, and black formal shoes
- Well-groomed.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Good communication skills.
- Has a strong work ethic, honesty, and integrity.
- Retail Security experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of SCONE is preferred.
