Your new job

The Administration Support Officer will provide support across the Suicide Prevention Research team, to facilitate the smooth running of all operations and projects.

Reporting to the Program Manager, Suicide Prevention you will:
  • Manage confidential and sensitive documentation with appropriate discretion and support diary management for the Head of Unit and Program Manager.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, proactively determining significance and managing distribution.
  • Organize lunches, events, and other functions including booking venues and organizing catering, and coordinating travel, accommodation, and itineraries
  • Support the financial operations and staffing activities of the team under the guidance of the Program Manager.

The following criteria must be met for consideration for this position:
  • Previous experience in operational administration and support in a dynamic team context and/or extensive experience in a similar role.
  • Capacity to be proactive, assertive, and work well under pressure or within tight time frames.
  • Exceptional organization skills with a passion for planning, organizing, and prioritizing administrative tasks and systems.
