Blackstone Legal Costing is a 30-person legal costing firm headquarters in Melbourne and with offices in Sydney and Brisbane. We have a great culture and the office is relaxed but professional. We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated person.
Ideally, you will have experience in an office environment, a flexible mindset, and time management skills to handle competing priorities. You have exceptional attention to detail and can work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Qualifications & experience
- Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Average typing speed with high accuracy.
- Good record-keeping.
- Experience with Word and Excel.
- Legal secretarial experience is preferred but not essential.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Preparing documents and correspondence from digital dictation and hand-written notes.
- Editing and proof-reading letters, cross-checking and formatting documents to be sent to clients.
- Coordinating outgoing matters and meeting client deadlines.
- Liaising with other Blackstone offices or with clients as required.
- Answering overflow telephone calls.
- Ad hoc tasks.
