Job Description


Our client is a young, growing, and ambitious commercial building company in Adelaide. They are centrally located with access to parking, a healthy pipeline of projects in fit-out, and new build up to $13mill in value.
They are going through an expansion phase and hiring a Contract Administrator role to join the business on a permanent basis. This will join a small but passionate growing team to deliver on multiple projects. A large benefit of this position is you will be put on the fast track to becoming a Project Manager.


You will be a CA with a focus not just on contract administration duties. This will also involve an opportunity to help promote the business, attend industry events, liaise with clients, define and improve processes and take an autonomous approach to play a key role in the growth of a new and exciting company.
  • Build relationships with industry contacts
  • Undertake progress claims and invoicing
  • Review packages of work and produce schedules
  • Subcontractor liaison and management in accordance with compliance
  • Assess and manage project costing
  • Promotions and networking


To be considered successful, you will have tertiary qualifications in Construction/Engineering and experience working as a contract administrator on commercial construction projects within Australia.
You will be driven, a self-starter who is hungry to progress your career and happy to take on a broad and exciting role. You will be a great communicator, have good attention to detail, and be a collaborative person.
This is a unique opportunity for an aspiring Contract Administrator or Project Coordinator to be mentored closely by a company Director and has more input and autonomy than these positions will typically allow.
