Job Description
Circuitwise Electronics is Australia’s leading Electronics subcontractor with a primary focus on servicing the Medical device industry. Located in Norwest Business Park, Circuitwise has been in business for over 35 years and has a long reputation for strong relationships and high-quality manufacturing.
Circuitwise is growing and we are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to own the maintenance requirements at our facility. Reporting to the CTO, this is a stand-alone role with support from our team where required.
The ideal candidate has experience maintaining complex machinery, is eager to learn new equipment, and would love to work in an electronics manufacturing environment. Specific machinery training will take place on the job.
Day-to-day tasks include

Preventative and on-demand maintenance management of machinery and tools

Maintenance of Surface Mount / Electronics manufacturing machinery

Creation and ownership of Maintenance and calibration schedule

Ordering of spare parts
-
Machinery installation
-
Machinery use review and optimization
-
External services management and optimization
-
Machinery and air conditioning filter maintenance
-
Installation and management of airlines and fittings
-
Ordering and management of maintenance consumables
-
Internal team training on machinery
-
Creation of jigs for production optimization
-
3D printing
-
Machine validation with the QA department
-
ESD surface maintenance and calibration
-
General tools ordering and management
-
Asset registry management
-
Installing of network for IT infrastructure

IT infrastructure installation
-
Cable management
-
general building maintenance and repairs
-
Outgoing goods crating / packing
-
General maintenance and assembly of office furniture

Space optimization in production and warehouse

Key stakeholder in WHS / Warden
Experience
-
Mechatronics/electronics or mechanical engineer or equal experience with high complexity machinery maintenance

Electronics manufacturing environment experience is a plus but not essential.

Pneumatic equipment experience

Experience fault finding

Experience reading schematics

General IT experience

5s experience is a plus but not essential

Electrical license a plus but not essential
