About the Role
Tandridge Hill Farm is a fully working farm situated in a beautiful rural location in Godstone, Surrey. Set on over 70 acres of land the farm provides a unique setting for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. This includes individuals living in Consensus services or within the local community who are seeking support in a day setting.
The Farm offers the space and freedom to interact in a safe environment with the support of trained instructors. It combines a flexible programme of activities tailored to different interests and capabilities – including indoor and outdoor pursuits. Caring for the animals on the farm is a big part of the experience.
Everyone is invited to take an active role in the day-to-day responsibilities of running and maintaining the farm. This encourages confidence and responsibility whilst developing social and real-life skills all in an exceptional setting. There is also a large horticultural area which enables people to learn about, and gets involved in, gardening and growing their own plants and vegetables. Full-time and part-time positions are available.
If you enjoy working as part of a team, are patient and caring with a positive attitude and are looking to join a growing organisation with great benefits, we would love to hear from you.
You may be new to care, and already have experience in the social care sector or the NHS as a Mental Health Support Worker, Care Worker, Healthcare Assistant or Care Assistant. We also recruit for attitude and personality so, if you don’t have all the right skills, we can provide a full induction, relevant training and the support you need to get the most from your role.
