About our role
- Provide financial, accounting, and business data analysis to our Procurement/Logistics or Manufacturing/Agricultural services department
- Support the planning and budgeting process and preparation of various management reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Ensure effective reporting and control of financial transactions, including capital expenditure
- Evaluate new business opportunities
What will you do
- Support and provide best-in-class business partnering with key stakeholders
- Support the development and validation of productivity opportunities and capital initiatives
- Contract analysis and crop/material analysis
- Implement efficient and effective financial planning, reporting, and processes
- Assist in the delivery of weekly, EOM, forecasts, and budgets
- Provide insightful, timely, and accurate reporting with a focus on ensuring performance drivers are understood, business-wide implications are clearly articulated, and gap measures are identified
- Support raw material, packaging material, and outsourced product standardized costing
- Approach tasks with a continuous improvement mindset
- Support the development and execution of strategies and projects
- Build internal relationships across the business to help facilitate information flow and decision-making by way of regular contact with key stakeholders
- Comply with all legislative/statutory obligations and company policies, including preparations of balance sheet reconciliations, post-capital audits, and fixed asset and inventory stock takes
What will you bring
- Intermediate to advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
- Demonstrated understanding of financial information systems ideal
- Ability to meet deadlines and influence others to meet deadlines
- Financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting skills
- Attention to detail whilst seeing the bigger picture
- Relevant and previous accounting qualifications/degree
- Desire to become a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA) or a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Excellent reporting and presentation skills
