Education & Professional Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Educated to degree level
  • Chartered member of CIPD or equivalent
Desirable criteria
  • Formal project management/Prince 2 accreditation

Knowledge & Experience

Essential criteria
  • Significant Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion knowledge through the equivalent level of training and operational experience.
  • Demonstrable experience of working in a multiunionised organization.
  • Experience in operating effectively in a customer-facing environment and delivering a high level of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion work plans and strategies.
  • Experience in facilitating discussions and/or chairing meetings with a range of stakeholders at all levels.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment legislation and understanding of the risks of non-compliance
  • Experience in analyzing and interpreting equality data and trends.
  • Experience in analyzing and interpreting equality data and trends.
  • Experience in supporting effective organizational change initiatives and projects
  • Well-developed understanding and knowledge of best practices in relation to equality, diversity and inclusion, employee voice (staff survey), and health and wellbeing.

Desirable criteria

  • Experience in supporting effective organizational change initiatives, i.e., Disability Confident Scheme
  • Knowledge and experience of working within an HR Business Partner model.
