Job Description

Helping our colleagues grasp their potential, realize their ambitions, and exceed expectations is what drives our Human Resources team. The Human Resources Service Centre (HRSC) is the operational hub of the Human Resources & OD Directorate.

HRSC is a busy team, embracing the use of modern technology to deliver an excellent HR Service to our customers. HRSC is part of Professional Services at Manchester Metropolitan University, located in the 6GMS building.

About the role:

There are two positions available; an HR Administrator and a UVKI Compliance and International Staff Administrator.

Duties for both roles include the administration and delivery of our operational HR service; from issuing contracts, processing leavers, employee lifecycle changes, and reports, to standard HR policy and procedural advice, this is a busy and varied role for the right individual. The roles will also take a lead in maintaining data through the HR systems and records, ensuring compliance regulations are met.

As the first point of contact, the HR Administrator will focus on initial investigations into general HR queries and guidance on standard HR policy and processes.

The UVKI Compliance and International Staff Administrator will focus on initial investigations into HR compliance queries and guidance on standard compliance matters.

About you:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and focused individual with a commitment to customer service. The successful candidate will have experience in administration and customer service, and preferably knowledge of HR systems or databases. Experience within HR is beneficial but not essential.

Based in central Manchester, you will enjoy a generous annual leave allowance (25 days, plus Christmas closure and bank holidays) a highly competitive pension scheme, access to retail discounts and Employee Assistance Programme, a cycle-to-work scheme, plus many more rewards and benefits.

If you would like to join our people and share our ambition, we would love to hear from you. For further details about this post, please contact Lindsay Brown.
