About the role

We are looking for an organized multitasker to jump in and support the HR function. While you may be a recent graduate, your phenomenal administration skills and eagerness to learn all things HR will see you excel in this position.

With a workforce of almost 200 employees across three locations (Wollongong, Nowra, and Kempsey) this position will be fast-paced and varied, with endless opportunities for the right candidate to grow with the company.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assistance with onboarding new employees

  • Monitoring compliance documents

  • Recruitment administration and assistance

  • General administration

  • Staff communications and follow up

  • Contributions to special HR projects, programs, and training

  • Assist in monitoring the client’s journey

  • Manage the volunteer pool

  • Participation in the Culture Council

About you


  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources

  • Previous experience in administration

  • Understanding of modern awards and Fair Work Legislation

  • Exceptional Computer skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Outstanding time management and the ability to manage competing priorities

  • High-level interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to work confidently and courteously with people at all levels

  • Ability to work independently as well as the capacity to work effectively in a team

  • Demonstrated understanding and commitment to work, health, and safety requirements

  • A current driver’s license and willingness to travel to other locations as required

  • NDIS worker screening check (or willingness to obtain)

  • Fully vaccinated against COVID 19


  • Previous recruitment experience

  • Understanding of the SCADS Award

  • Industry experience
