About the role

Reporting to the Regional Manager – West, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient management of all DCV operations. Your tasks will include coordination of the operational program ensuring personnel and vessel availability. Provision of efficient and economic asset maintenance of designated vessels and equipment; assigning maintenance and servicing tasks schedules, performance delivery of the maintenance program, and carrying out communal duties. You will have an understanding of multi-skilled disciplines such as ship’s husbandry, mechanical and electrical.

To be successful in this position, you will have:

  • The highest levels of integrity and ethical behavior
  • Formal WHS qualification
  • Current Driver’s Licence (Class C)
  • Qualifications and experience in a maritime discipline, as a Master/Mate/Engineer on vessels of similar size and capabilities
  • Flexible attitude and self-motivated with the ability to work in a team environment as well as without supervision
  • Be able to obtain a security clearance
