Support Services Officer | NSW – Sydney

Be part of a team that’s open-minded, supportive, approachable, and genuinely focused on customer outcomes The Commercial division is Allianz Australia’s largest distribution channel whose customers include Commercial, Corporate, and international buyer groups throughout Australia and New Zealand.

We currently have an opening for a Support Services Officer to join our team to assist with the operations and underwriting functions within the division.

It will be your responsibility to:

  • Provide processing, administration, and credit control support for tailored and specialty products for Commercial and Dealer House Accounts.
  • Support operations activity ensuring effective prioritization and support.
  • Support procedures that promote adherence to guidelines and compliance requirements.
  • Support initiatives that deliver greater levels of automation, simplification, and optimization of operations processes improving their effectiveness.
  • Respond to queries in a customer-focused and timely manner ensuring stakeholders and customers receive the outcomes required. Be proactive and drive continuous improvement within the team.
  • Provide consistent and positive service to Commercial, Underwriting, Account Managers, and Credit Control.

What you will need to succeed in this role:

  • Experience in providing customer/ administration services within the general insurance industry with high attention to detail and efficiency.
  • Relationship management capability, particularly managing upwards and communicating with audiences at all levels.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize effectively, organize tasks and manage competing resources and demands.
  • Demonstrated experience in the execution of initiatives designed to simplify business processes and solutions.
  • Skills in the analysis and interpretation of information with the ability to present findings in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with clarity, impact, and influence.
