With that comes the unique opportunity to touch lives across the world and experience first-hand the difference your hard work makes. We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to identify and deploy direct marketing strategies to drive growth, including thought leadership campaigns and lead generation tactics.
How can you make an impact?
The product Marketing Manager, in partnership with the Marketing Director, will be responsible for the go-to-market and go-to-sales plan, strategy, and execution to exceed revenue goals. In this role, you will have the opportunity to play a critical role in driving digital growth, through designing thought leadership and strategic lead generation campaigns, building relationships with customers and sales, developing high-impact events, and helping to create quality marketing materials. This position can be located anywhere within the United States.
What you will be doing:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive, strategic marketing plan that involves all go-to-sales and go-to-market strategies and tactics to promote your product portfolio across a variety of channels (email, social, web, relationship selling, etc.).
  • Partner with stakeholders to write and develop portfolio positioning and messaging in alignment with corporate strategy, and ensure these are effectively communicated to target audiences through the website, digital marketing avenues, collateral, and training materials.
  • Create and leverage content to support campaigns, including external awareness, training materials, and thought leadership content.
  • Conduct customer and internal-facing presentations on a regular basis in both live and virtual environments.
  • Develop sales and training resources to help the organization promote the assigned portfolio, answer customer/rep inquiries, and troubleshoot challenges.
  • Strategize with sales teams on core business opportunities and train new representatives on your product portfolio, the competition, curriculum, issues, and trends.
  • Plan and execute a series of virtual and in-person events – both hosted by McGraw Hill and in conjunction with professional organizations through conventions.
  • Analyze market trends and potential market opportunities and participate in market research, market planning, product development, and competitive analysis. Know your product and the market intimately.
We’re looking for someone with:
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Three or more years of client-facing Sales and/or Marketing experience, preferably in the field of education and/or technology but not required.
  • Strong understanding of emerging marketing trends, technologies, and integration strategies.
  • Strong business writing skills and experience with Powerpoint, Outlook, and Excel. Experience with Salesforce, Marketo, and Tableau is a plus.
  • Strong ability to identify, prioritize, and execute marketing objectives to grow market share, promote customer retention, and drive revenue.
  • Ability to make data-informed decisions, track ROI, and effectively tell a story with data.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and an ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Success in managing and delivering virtual and/or live events and conducting compelling presentations—both internally and externally.
  • Ability to travel approximately 30%.

(AIP eligible roles) The pay range for this position is between $55,000-$128,000 annually, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. An annual bonus plan may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
