About the role
We are looking for candidates who are willing to travel and enjoy the experience in communities for a minimum of 3 weeks per visit. Work is carried out in small teams. Our roles provide an opportunity to utilize your vast experience and share it with a community in need. You will make a difference and will improve community health.
Skills and experience
- Current unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- At least 12 months of clinical experience. Experience delivering vaccinations is highly regarded.
- Current CPR, BLS, or ALS certification.
- All vaccinations recommended for health care workers are up to date.
- Current police check (within the last 12 months).
- Working with Children checks relevant to the state.
- Current drivers’ license.
- Current Nurse Immuniser qualification.

Benefits
The casual pay rate for this role is $55 per hour. Superannuation is paid in addition to the casual rate. Rosters are determined by the client and shift loadings apply according to the Nurses Award 2010. We provide flights, single accommodation, and a generous daily meal allowance. Travel reimbursement is also provided if traveling in your own vehicle.
