We have a new opportunity for a savvy Marketing Assistant to join our busy marketing team. Building on our international reputation for delivering world-class visual effects, you will be supporting the growth of a company at the forefront of the industry.
Your strong knowledge of industry-standard social media platforms, marketing and communication techniques, website management, and SEO will set you apart.
Creativity and the ability to build relationships are critical to this role. Applicants with an understanding of visual effects would naturally be preferred, however not essential.
Employment period: Part-time 6-month contract, with an immediate start.
Location: Adelaide, Australia. This position is open to Australian and New Zealand applicants, and those who hold the right to work in Australia.
Position Overview We are seeking a driven and passionate individual to join our growing team as a Marketing Assistant. This is a part-time position offering two days per week. This is an excellent opportunity for applicants with marketing experience to join an iconic Adelaide company delivering world-class visual effects.
Your attention to detail and strong communication skills will assist you to deliver in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment. Applicants who are succinct, proactive, professional, and well organized will be highly regarded.
Marketing Assistant Responsibilities
The Marketing Assistant provides support to the Marketing Manager and will assist with the following tasks:
- Executing the marketing strategy
- Managing the brand and marketing initiatives
- Performing market and client research
- Maintaining schedules for marketing initiatives
- Maintaining company website
- Creating and managing content for social media
- Coordinating and managing events and exhibitions
- Organizing and managing marketing collateral
Preferred skills and experience
- Previous experience in Marketing is essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, and HTML.
- Strong knowledge of industry-standard social media platforms.
- Strong knowledge of marketing and communication techniques.
- Strong knowledge of website management and SEO.
- Knowledge of the Visual Effects industry is ideal – but not essential.
- Prioritization and time management skills.
