KU Allied Health

KU Allied Health teams are located in nominated services in NSW and Victoria. KU Ashmont Family Centre is located in traditional Wiradjuri Country in the Riverina region of southern New South Wales.

The multidisciplinary team provides support for families of children under the age of 7 who might have, or are experiencing, developmental delay or disability by delivering early childhood intervention services which currently include occupational therapy and Autism specific ESDM therapy.

KU is a registered provider of National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Early Childhood Supports, offering early intervention through various pathways including a child’s NDIS Plan, a Medicare-approved plan, or via Fee-for-Service options.

The Role

As a member of the Allied Health Team, you will be working as a part of a dedicated and experienced professional team of therapists, who each have a strong understanding of child development and the principles and practices related to their field of expertise.

Through collaborative partnerships with each child’s family and support network, you will be providing speech pathology assessments and therapy options to reflect the individual needs, strengths, and learning goals of each child in both clinic and early childhood education and care settings.

On offer are several permanent positions

  • Full Time – Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day, and accrue one monthly Rostered Day Off (RDO)

  • Registration with Speech Pathology Australia.
  • A current NSW Employee Working with Children Check or willing to obtain.
