The role:

The Team Leader Gateway Development and Social Programs are responsible for leading the team to grow the Community Gateway mentoring service and deliver quality development and social programs to our clients in a financially stable model. You will be responsible for:

  • Leading the Gateway Development and Social Programs team

  • Developing and growing the business arm across all regions ensuring services are designed for quality and efficiency

  • Ensuring Community Gateway is easy to do business with and that services are delivered with a wellness-focused and goal-oriented approach.

  • Actively engaging in business development and seeking opportunities for new business streams

This is a senior position that will be committed to building and fostering a high-performing team that is focused on remaining relevant and consistently exceeding our clients’ expectations.

About you:

This role will require a passionate, creative and entrepreneurial leader committed to driving business efficiencies and exceeding client expectations

Essential

  • Demonstrated leadership skills and extensive experience in the management of multidisciplinary teams.

  • Proven experience in operational management that has met set organizational targets.

  • Experience in business development, creating new business streams and markets.

  • Experience within a commercial environment, including the responsibility for budgets and staff utilization.

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.

  • Experience in developing, implementing, and monitoring services and programs.

  • Proven rapport and relationship-building with a diverse range of stakeholders.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to think critically, identify solutions and manage own time effectively.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, dependent on work requirements.

  • Ability to follow policies and procedures and implement and contribute to quality processes.

  • Demonstrated understanding of, and commitment to, work health and safety requirements.

  • A current Working with Children Check and current NDIS Worker Screening Check.

  • Current driver’s license and willingness to travel between offices.

  • Proof of COVID 19 Vaccination or exemption

Desirable: 

  • Understanding of the aged care and disability sectors and knowledge of the Consumer Directed Care model and NDIS.

  • Knowledge of the local service area and community trends.

  • Current First Aid Certificate.
