What is the job?
You know that initial feeling when you call a Customer Service department because of an issue or query and you find yourself speaking to someone who is knowledgeable, switched on, and genuinely wanting to help you out? That’s an amazing feeling and it is what we want our own customers at Sportsbet to encounter.
Your role as a Customer Service Agent in our contact centers is the most important function of our company. We need you to make sure our customers get a ‘best in class’ experience. Some of your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Process a range of inquiries using various means of correspondence such as email, live chat, and telephone
- Answer and field all inbound bet requests via phone
- Ensure all processes and procedures are followed
- Provide and source accurate information to attend to and resolve customer inquiries
- Capture all relevant information into our customer database
- Constantly maintain knowledge and understanding of bet types, bet options, key events, and industry trends.
- Liaise with relevant internal departments i.e. bookmakers and customer operations.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable team players who are interested in sport and/or racing. You will have experience dealing with customers and a natural ability at solving problems with a cool head when things get frantic. Please apply if you think you have:
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail in processing and interpreting information
- Ability to provide support using email communication, telephone support, and web chat (or similar)
Weekends, evenings, and public holidays are a really busy time for us as these are when most sporting events are taking place, so we need our staff to be willing to work on these days and after hours. To be considered please include a resume or cover letter that addresses these key points:
- Your availability to work Mon-Sun 24/7
