Job description

We are looking for a Safety Officer to be responsible for Health and Safety in our various sites and yard in Dubai Industrial City. The selected person will be in charge of all HSE concerns regarding the complete site, labor accommodation, and office.

Duties

· Monitor health and safety

· Develop strategies to reduce incidents

· Design training programs

· Create reports

· Conduct induction training and safety minutes for all staff

· Supervise all major hazardous activities

· Guiding and advising the remote sites

Requirements

· Approved By DDA… Dubai Development Authority (DDA)

· At least 5 years experience as an HSE officer working in a Recycling/Waste Management and fabrication yard in the Middle East

· Experience in lifting and loading

· Certification from NEBOSH or OSHA

· Fluent in the English language

· Able to work under pressure

· Able to work independently, with minimal supervision

· Able to work outdoors, year-round

· Good organizational skills with attention to details
