Dress-Smart is a household name synonymous with outlet shopping in NZ with centres located in Auckland and Christchurch. An exciting opportunity has arisen at our management office at Dress-Smart Hornby for an Administration Assistant to join the team.


This role proactively supports the centre management team to deliver the shopping centre’s key administrative and operational requirements. You’ll be working as part of a close-knit team to ensure the smooth running of the Shopping Centre.

Specifically, you’ll be working in conjunction with the Centre Administrator to:

  • Support tenants with administrative requests.
  • Maintain the centre’s database and other registers.
  • Build strong working relationships with tenants, service providers and contractors.
  • Manage the front desk/reception area
  • Ensure the operational requirements of the centre are maintained and complied with.

You’ll also complete basic accounts duties, order consumables to support the centre and provide assistance to maintain external contractor records. This role is in a busy environment where you’ll be required to ‘think on your feet and have a ‘can-do attitude.


We’re looking for a strong administrator with great communication, customer service and collaboration skills, who are organised, with a keen eye for detail and has strong Microsoft Office skills.

This is a part-time role working 20 hours per week, preferably afternoons Monday to Wednesday and all-day Friday, however, there may be some flexibility required.
