Ensure the satisfaction of all customers by ensuring that prompt, courteous, and efficient service is given by you at all times. Handle all telephone queries in a prompt and courteous manner.
BUSINESS FOCUS
Operational Standards
Book in and receive direct deliveries and warehouse deliveries.
Check Despatch notes against actual delivery.
Move stock to correct areas of the store in a timely and professional manner.
Ensure that the correct procedures are carried out when despatching parcels or letters.
Assist in fixtures moves when required, as directed by a senior manager.
Service Promotion
Have in-depth knowledge of operational procedures within stock rooms and loading bay.
Have extensive knowledge of all departments and areas within the store, both selling and non-selling.
Health and Safety
Ensure that the department is maintained in a safe manner, free of hazards and that the store Health and Safety Regulations are adhered to at all times.
Maintain a keen awareness of store security procedures and policies and carry out stock checks as directed by the Department Manager. Ensure the security of the Loading Bay at all times.
