1. ROLE DETAILS:

Position Title Store Keeper

Reports to Manager

Division Support Services

Department Administration

Function Security

2. ROLE PURPOSE

• Take stock of inventory, manage the store layout, supervise staff, and keep records of sales.

3. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Recommends modifications, revisions, and improvements in facilities, procedures, and methods.
• Orders receive and record the receipt and issuance of supplies, equipment, and products in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintains daily receiving and outgoing records.
• Maintains the tagging and recording of new items.
• Oversees physical inventories and maintains computerized inventory records.
• Prepares items and materials for routine, bulk, and express mailings.
• Stocks supplies and equipment in assigned storeroom/area.
• Receive and verify items delivered by carriers and freight companies.

4. COMPETENCIES

• Able to work at heights of 8 feet or above, climb ladders, work alone, and be self-directed.
• Professional interpersonal skills to work effectively, establish, and maintain working relationships with a diverse population and function.
• Cooperatively and productively as a member of a team.
• Keep accurate receiving and sending inventory records.
• Planned, led, and organize the work of others and directed workflow for the smooth and effective operation of the work unit.
• Forecast supply needs of routine items.

5. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5 years experience in the same field.
• Ability to work and develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with colleagues.

6. WORKING HOURS

• Working timing is to be as per work requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: AED800 – AED1,400 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dubai: Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• building materials: 2 years (Preferred)

Language:

• Urdu (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• UAE license (Preferred)
