Currently, we are looking for an Operations Specialist who will be responsible to liaise with the customer service coordinator, road carriers, and customs agencies for the management of physical documents, complying with regulations and internal procedures ensuring that all requirements are met, and taking corrective actions in case of deviations.

Your task will be:
- Liaise with customer service coordinator, road carriers, customs agencies, and warehouses to complete the Handover of Cargo
- Receives, handles, and transfers physical documents, complying with regulations and internal procedures and ensuring that customer requirements are met; takes corrective actions in case of deviations from customer requirements
- Executes customs inspection and controlling authorities formalities as and when required
- Coordinating customs clearance and arranging container and groupage deliveries in UAE
- Ensures that the complete shipment is readily available and checked for discrepancies prior to delivery.
- Ensures that all origin-related discrepancies are well communicated with the concerned parties to resolve concerns within the stipulated time.
- Inspect the cargo to see if it’s in good condition. Also, check if the customer has used the correct DG label as per the DG classification
- Submit the exit entry to the CDZ team and keep proper records of the handover
- Settlement of all payments and vouchers
Your profile should look like this:
- Ability to work effectively under time pressure, ability to independently solve problems
- In-depth knowledge of transportation.
- Strong goal orientation and completion of assigned tasks;
- Very good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
